How to file a report

If you need to file a report with the Nome Police Department regarding any manner you may call dispatch at 907-443-5262, or the following:

• Print out a statement form and bring it to NPD
• Fax the statement form to NPD 907-443-2266
• In time of an emergency please dial 911

Status of your case?

• To check the status of your case, you may call dispatch at 907-443-5262 and ask to speak with the investigating Officer you worked with. If you do not know the Officer, simply provide your information and dispatch can route you.
• To check the status of your case and make contact with your DV/SA advocate Sharon Sparks, please call 907-443-8523.
• If you know the name of your offender and an arrest was made you can search their name and look for the correlating court case number in the public record of Alaska Court View:  https://courts.alaska.gov/main/search-cases.htm
  • This will allow you to see real time case status updates of the court process.
