It is not possible to drive to Nome! However, once you arrive by plane, there are almost 300 miles of roads to explore by rental vehicle.

Alaska Airlines provides year-round, daily service between Nome and Anchorage. They have a direct flight time of 75 minutes or three hours if the flight stops in Kotzebue (a neighboring Eskimo community).

Contact Alaska Airlines: 1-800-426-0333

Please Note: The Nome airport is about two miles from downtown Nome. Taxi fare is $5.00 per person.
