Cemetery

The Belmont Point Cemetery was established in the early 1900s. Historical information is available by request at City Hall. 

To obtain a burial permit or inquire about the location of the interment, please contact the Cemetery Manager's office.

The Cemetery Project

The Cemetery Project is an ongoing mission to locate and identify those whose final resting place is Belmont Point Cemetery. Due to the historic nature of the BPC, it can be difficult to trace the identity of burials that occurred many years ago. If you have archival information regarding someone interred in Nome, please don't hesitate to contact the Cemetery Manager's office.
