INVITATION TO BID CITY OF NOME, ALASKA JANITORIAL SERVICES

The City of Nome is accepting bids for the performance of janitorial services at three city buildings-  the Public Safety Building, the Nome Recreation Center and the Port of Nome office.

Interested persons may receive a bid package by registering with the City Clerk by email at DGrimmer@nomealaska.org or by phone at 907-443-6663. Documents will be available by October 11, 2024.   One complete set of Documents will be available for review on the City of Nome web site. 

The deadline for submission of sealed bids is Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. local time and shortly thereafter the bids will be opened publicly and read aloud.  Bids must be submitted to the City Clerk at the Public Safety Building.  Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope and marked clearly on the envelope as “Bid Enclosed: Janitorial Services”.  Fax and email submissions are not allowed, but timely modifications by turned in by email or in person will be permitted.

The contract will be awarded to the lowest qualified Bidder as determined by the City.  The City of Nome reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to reject non-conforming, non-responsive, or conditional bids.
