            This City of Nome (City) is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to furnish an articulated boom lift for use by its Department of Public Works. Interested persons may receive an RFP package by contacting the City Clerk by phone at 907-443-6663 or by email at bhammond@nomealaska.org.  Contract documents will be available after 2:00 PM, August 26, 2022. Interested bidders shall register with the City Clerk to ensure proper distribution of addenda.  A valid e-mail address must be provided.

One complete set of bid documents will also be available for review at The Plans Room, 4831 Old Seward Hwy # 202, Anchorage, AK 99503, 907-563-2029.

            The deadline for submission of sealed proposals is September 22, 2022 at 3:00 PM local time and shortly thereafter the bids will be opened publicly and read aloud.  Bids must be submitted to the City Clerk at City Hall.  Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope and marked clearly on the envelope as “Proposal Enclosed: Furnish Articulated Boom Lift to Public Works Department” along with the name and address of the bidder.  Faxed and e-mailed submissions are not allowed. 

            The contract will be awarded to the overall best value as determined by the City.  The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive irregularities in the proposals.
