Our Policies

• Any registered resident of the City of Nome or the surrounding Nome area may check out materials and equipment.
• Registration requires one form of photo identification (current driver's license or photo ID) and proof of Nome area residence (utility bill or phone bill, complete physical address and Nome post office box number).

Temporary Patron Privileges

• A temporary patron account may be opened for 6 months at the cost of $20.00.

Children's Library Requirements

• Children under the age of 17 must have a parent or guardian present when registering for check out privileges.
• Children under the age of 17 must have a signed library permission form to use library computers.
• Parents or guardians are responsible for the return of all materials borrowed, and are  responsible for fees and fines incurred.
• No one under the age of 7 may register to check out materials.
